Allow pop-ups in Google Sheets (Chrome)

If a button looks stuck on loading, or nothing happens when you click Subscribe / Upgrade, the checkout page may be blocked as a pop-up. Allow pop-ups for https://docs.google.com, then retry (it should open a new tab).

Quick fix (30 seconds)

  1. Open your Google Sheet in Chrome.
  2. If you see a blocked pop-up icon in the address bar, click it and choose Always allow pop-ups and redirects for docs.google.com.
  3. Retry Subscribe / Upgrade.

If you don’t see the blocked icon, follow the steps below to add https://docs.google.com to Allowed sites.

  1. Open Chrome Settings.

  2. Search for “pop-ups”, then click Site settings.

  4. Click Add under Allowed.

  5. Add https://docs.google.com.

  6. Done. Retry the action in Google Sheets.

Still stuck?

  • If you have multiple Google accounts signed in, sign out of other accounts and retry with the account that purchased the plan.
  • Temporarily disable pop-up/ad blockers for docs.google.com (some extensions block new-tab checkout windows).
  • Try an Incognito window, then enable the add-on again.
