AI for Slides Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance

AI for Slides (the "Service") is provided by Simple Metrics Ltd ("SimpleMetrics", "we"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service is an add-on for Google Slides that researches your topic from your description, links and files, writes an outline, and designs each slide as editable text, shapes and images in the presentation you have open.

3. Your content and responsibilities

  • You keep all rights to what you type, upload and link to, and to the slides you make.
  • You must have the right to use the files and links you add, and must not add content you are not allowed to share with us.
  • AI can get facts, numbers and sources wrong, and designs can differ from what you asked for. Check every slide before you present or publish it.
  • You must not use the Service for illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with or access the Service in unauthorised ways.

4. Plans and usage limits

The Free plan includes 5 slides in total. Paid plans cost US$29 per month for 100 slides or US$99 per month for 500 slides. Each slide you make or redo counts as one slide; a slide that fails to make does not count. Paid limits reset at the start of each billing period and unused slides do not roll over. We may change plans and prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel, or switch between plans, at any time from the add-on's billing page. After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

If you have not used your paid plan, we offer a full refund for payments made within the last 30 days. For used subscriptions, refunds are decided case by case. Email [email protected] with your purchase email.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design and branding of the Service belong to SimpleMetrics or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them except to use the Service.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the Service if you break these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, SimpleMetrics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for errors in the content or design of slides, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms. We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
